
King Von (real name Dayvon Daquan Bennett) was born on the 9th of August of 1994 in Chicago, Illinois, to Walter Bennett and Taesha. Three of his siblings are his mother's as well as six of his half siblings came directly from the father. Bennett was mostly raised by his mom due to his father's frequent stints in prison. At the age of 11, Bennett was at the time his dad was shot down and murdered. He was just 16 years old when he died, Bennett did his first time in the jail, which was but the start of several confrontations with law enforcement. He earned college credits in the form of South Suburban College. In the aftermath of legal troubles, Bennett tried to make an comeback to pursue his career in music. The band often collaborated together with Lil Durk. A posthumous album, "What It Means to be King", was released on March 20, 2022.
